State of the State & State of the County

The Chamber’s State of the State and State of the County events are a cornerstone of our advocacy work — bringing together business leaders and elected officials for meaningful, informed conversation.

Why It Matters

  • Updates on legislative priorities and regional initiatives
  • Insight into issues impacting businesses and communities
  • Opportunities to hear directly from elected officials
  • Time to connect, ask questions, and engage

These events aren’t just presentations — they’re opportunities to stay informed, build relationships, and be part of the conversation shaping our region.

State of the County

Each April, we bring our community together to hear directly from county leadership on the issues shaping our future.

At this year’s State of the County, County Administrator Chris DeBolt, Chair of the Board of Supervisors Bill Wellman, and Economic Development Director Ryan Davis shared updates on critical topics including infrastructure investments, weather-related challenges, and the ongoing work to support a resilient, thriving Ontario County.

The conversation offered valuable insight into both current priorities and what lies ahead for our region.

State of the State

Each June, we connect our members with state leadership to hear firsthand about the decisions impacting our region.

This year’s State of the State will take place on June 23 at Clifton Springs Country Club, featuring Senator Pam Helming, Assemblyman Jeff Gallahan and Assemblywoman Andrea Bailey.

The discussion will focus on the state budget, legislative priorities, and key issues affecting businesses and communities across New York.
