Not-for-Profit Summit of the Finger Lakes
The Not-for-Profit Summit of the Finger Lakes was created in 2017 to identify and address the needs of NFP organizations in and around Ontario County.
Since that time, the Canandaigia Chamber, United Way of Ontario County, The County of Ontario and Finger Lakes Community College have collaborated on annual, full-day events for Not-for-Profits organizations and their leadership.
Topics include grant funding, changing workplace culture and managing a remote or hybrid workforce, and while 2021 will be presented entirely online, we believe you and your organization will benefit from these three education modules. Check back here on Tuesday, June 22nd for the premiere of those recordings.

Culture Change in your Organization
Utilizing SAMHSA principles and work by the Institute on Trauma and Trauma Informed Care, the Finger Lakes Resiliency Network accompanies organizations on their journey along the trauma informed continuum. Attendees will achieve better understanding of the trauma-informed care work occurring in the region.
Managing a Hybrid/Virtual Workplace in the Real World
As we start to move out of the pandemic, many organizations are realizing that many jobs can be done from anywhere and most people like the flexibility that working from home provides. You may now be assessing if you should continue with a virtual workplace or some type of hybrid model. Is the hybrid approach is here to stay? This session will explore the pros and cons of a virtual workplace, provide you with strategies to manage a virtual/hybrid workforce, help you understand the crucial decisions you should consider that will affect your business for years to come.
Early each spring we seek proposals for presenters on topics relevant to not-for-profit operations, culture, legal considerations, board governance and the like. Please watch the Chamber’s media for details.
